SARA MACONE, PSY.D.
Dr. Sara Macone is a lifespan Clinical Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral fellow. She has over 15 years of experience working with patients of all stages of life in both Italy and the United States. Dr. Macone offers neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in psychiatric and medical units of hospitals and in private practices throughout her career.
Dr. Macone obtained her master’s degree at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, her Doctorate at Beck Institute of Rome. She moved to the United States in 2013.
Dr. Macone has extensive experience in evaluating children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental, neurological, medical, and psychiatric disorders. She utilizes an evidence based approach to testing. She strives to help her patients have a better understanding of their cognitive functioning as it’s related to their medical history and daily life and to provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Dr. Macone just moved from Hawaii to Florida with her husband, their little girl, and two cats. The beach is her happy place and she is thrilled to be in Saint Petersburg!
