ALEXANDRA HOLLANDER, LMHC
Alexandra Hollander is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works to help adults live more authentically by providing the tools needed to improve a variety of mental health concerns.
Alexandra’s concentration is on adults who suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and social media addiction.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Eckerd College in 2011 and her Masters of Arts from the University of South Florida in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2017, Alexandra completed two years of post-graduate work in community mental health. She has been working with a broad range of clients treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and severe and persistent mental illness.
Alexandra has worked in a variety of settings including a college counseling center, community counseling, private practice, and for an organization specializing in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She incorporates elements from various evident based treatment approaches, including exposure and response prevention, cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness.
Being born and raised in Germany and living in several different countries, Alexandra has gained a multicultural competence. She believes that a good therapeutic relationship is essential and she will work hard to create a safe and non-judgmental space for a positive treatment outcome and a healthy quality of life.
