Do health insurance plans cover individual therapy, psychological evaluations, and neuropsychological evaluations?

Insurance plans typically cover all mental health services, however, coverage may be subject to deductible and coinsurance percentage. If you do not know what your deductible and coinsurance amounts are, we will check your insurance benefits and inform you of your out of pocket cost prior to your scheduled appointment.

Every effort will be made to estimate and collect co-payments at time of service, but all unpaid balances will be the responsibility of the patient/legal guardian. Please understand the insurance contract between you and your insurance carrier for covered/non-covered benefits. If an insurance carrier has not paid within 30 days of billing, any unpaid fees are due and payable from patient/guardian.

Are referrals needed for therapy and neuropsychological evaluations?

Referrals are not typically required by insurance companies, however, if you have a referral from your PCP or specialist provider, please bring it to your appointment to share that information with your provider.

Do health insurance plans cover couple's therapy and marriage counseling?

Most standard health insurance plans do not cover couple’s counseling.

Therapy is an investment in yourself and your relationship. It requires your commitment, energy, and focus. Rest assured we strive to keep sessions focused and productive in order to reach your goals and desires in the quickest but most effective ways possible.
