    Amanda Zephyrin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works to help populations of all ages, including adolescents, young adults and middle-age adults, with a wide range of concerns relating to depression, anxiety, grief-loss, trauma, addiction, relationships, family conflict, school, self-harm, self-esteem, felony/probation, autism, ADHD, eating disorder, LGBTQ, gender identity and more!

    Amanda earned her Bachelor degree of Science from St. Petersburg College in 2012 and begin her career working in non-profit sector of child dependency in Largo, Fl. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in counseling and psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2017 and completed two years of post-graduate work in non-for profit sector supporting a broad range of clients. She has also received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength Base and Motivational Interviewing.

    Amanda believes each client is unique and so is my approach to meeting my client’s needs. Amanda utilizes an eclectic blend of treatment methods to serve her clients. She uses various therapeutic tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength Base, Motivational Interviewing or all of the above. In addition, Self-Care will be an integral part of every client’s treatment plan and the ongoing therapeutic process as we work together to help gain balance in mental, physical and emotional well-being. Amanda does not assume a position of higher knowledge then her clients, but a position of understanding.

    Amanda believes that that rapport and therapeutic relationship are extremely important for therapy to be successful. She understands that it takes courage to take the steps you are taking towards seeking counseling and asking for help and she looks forwards to taking the steps alongside client’s with encouragement, support and celebrating the clients unique strengths.
